Greetings frequent lurkers and followers,
I have been generally MIA on DA for almost all of 2010 but will be more active in the coming months. Aside from being a full time grad student I have also been looking for work (preferably overseas but I'd take anything that got me out of Memphis) and studying for the LSAT this semester. Creatively I have been tapped out and have been generally apathetic and angsty about life on and off over the last year. But the fruits of my labor have paid off as I will be moving to Japan sometime in spring 2011 pending visa approval. So expect lots more pics in 2011. I have a good feeling about this coming year. It will be an adventure if nothing else. Something about having my feet on the ground in Japan provides a level of inspiration I cannot describe. The three months I spent in Tokyo in 2007 have managed to fuel me for near 3 years until I could finally get my butt back over on more then a tourist visa or a student visa. I was running on fumes and about to give up on Japan for the near future before this job panned out. Best of all, because my University offers so many online courses for working students I can still graduate on time even if I'm living overseas. And I still get in state tuition! Huzzah!
